Aryna Sabalenka
Her birthplace is Minsk located in Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father, a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. The 12 WTA singles titles include the Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. Her doubles game is excellent and she has also won Majors in both the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were in partnership with Elisemertens. She took home both in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partner, completing what is known as the Sunshine Double. Four women's teams were able to achieve this feat. The Belarusian rose from second place to third in singles world rankings on 23 August 2021. The highest ranking she achieved was also achieved in the month of January 2023. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles tournament in February of 2021 She was able rise up the rankings and take over the top spot in that specialty. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach in 2018 until her season came to an end in 2019, and also for a short time before the year 2020 began. She also briefly teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann from August to September 2020. Her training has been provided by her nationman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova were her models.
